Thanks to our Mentors & advisors, including Dr. Ron. Smith (below)-

(L), now retired President of JBI); A past Student of Andrews

University, NCU and Brooklyn College, etc. who holds five Doctorate

Degrees. Dr. Smith is perhaps among the top ten Theologians and

Scholars in the world. He is also a rare English, Greek and Medical

Scholar who trained & mentored Dr. Newton Cleghorne, above, Dean,

Theology Departmental, Northern Caribbean University (NCU) of approx. 5,600 students.

Dr. Smith conferred the Ph.D. Degree on Dr. R.C. Connor, former PM Dir., GNY Conference.

Dr. Smith also conferred the Doctorate Degrees on the late Dr. F.E. Roy Jefferies, Philadelphia Church, Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Jefferies was the first Sabbath School Director of Northeastern Conference, SDA, mid 20^th Century. Evangelist Claudius Morgan from the Caribbean received his Honorary Doctorate through Dr. Smith.

A recent student of Dr Smith is Dr. Mike Bell, whose MBA field work project (including the BAYDA Souvenir Journal project across North America Division) impressed Dr. Smith. Upon Graduation and with such an unprecedented and broad academic base including Religion, Education, Business Admin., Mass Media and Computer Technology, Dr. Bell was invited by Dr. Smith to become the new President of the College, JBI with powers to exercise his discretion, unconditionally. Dr. Bell has reorganized and integrated JBI into Daniel College.US. Our Curriculum content is therefore exhaustively thorough & highly fulfilling.

Other important Pioneers of Daniel College are: President Ted Wilson, General Conference, SDA who offered Pastor Bell a job at the Review and Herald Publishing Assn.; Dr. Richard Mills, former Education Commissioner, NY State Education Department; Dr. Sylvan Lashley, former President, NCU; Dr. K.G. Vaz, (D.Litt, elect) former President, NCU ); the late President Tim. Walters, WIU; Dr. Orlando Moncrieffe; Dr. Olive Hemmings; former President Ted Jones, AUC; Dr. Charles Bradford, former President, NAD, who said “stay close to the brethren”; the late Mother Venice Douce, Academic advisor; Dr./Mrs. Carol Fider; Dr. Jacqueline H.
